Our Company

Founded in 1977 by Ron Steffey, Sunstar optical has always operated with the goal of providing quality products to quality eye care professionals. Though Ron has retired, his goal of excellence is carried on by his daughter, Jennifer, who is still with the company. Over the years Sunstar has grown to three locations, with each lab providing its own unique services to the group.

Sunstar is an Essilor Lenses of America Partner Lab which combines the strength of Essilor with the hands-on attention of an on-site owner.
